Psych!

Turns out my due date is not January 25th like I thought it was.... it was January 20th.
Which means I'm 4 days overdue at this point.

I went to the doctor today for an appointment and they found that my amniotic fluid is low. Too low.
Which means I'm going to the hospital tonight as soon as I get everything packed and ready to go and get a babysitter here for T. It's not low enough that we have to get there as soon as possible. But by tonight. As soon as we're ready to go.

I just found out I had the wrong due date on Monday. I figured I'd still be at least a week late and I would have the weekend to finish my last minute to-do list.
Which means I am currently freaking out.
I thought maybe writing a blog post would help me calm down a bit.

It kind of has.
Wish me luck!

The glamorous life

Here's what we've been up to lately:

Nothing.
Basically I just sleep or sit on the couch and eat. T is super bored with me. My house is grody. Seth gets to eat leftovers or sandwiches because I don't have energy to cook and hear me complain about how tired I am of being pregnant every day. (He's so lucky to have me.)
Only 17 more days until my due date.

And now, just so this post isn't a complete waste of your time, here are some links to articles that I like:
Top Ten Best and Worst Things about being Pregnant. Of course I had to include one article about pregnancy at the moment.
What is Intelligence, Anyway? By Isaac Asimov. This article makes me feel better when I compare myself to Seth.
10 Blog Layout Tips. If you care about how your blog looks. Every once in a while I get obsessed with changing my blog to make it look more awesome and this article comes in handy.
13 Simple Steps to Get You Through a Rough Day. It really does work.
50 Ways to Help the Planet. My family thinks I am a total hippie (I'm not) and I guess posting this article is only going to reinforce that.
The Miracle of Faith, The Miracle of Love: Some Personal Reflections. By Bruce Young. Not a quick read, this takes some time and mental energy. It's well worth it.

And now a picture of T!
The end.
