Tired.

Hey. Sorry for the lack of posts. Currently I am trying to get T to nap during the day and eat real food at dinner and she doesn't think she needs to and it is taking up all of my mental and physical energies.
I'm tired.
Here are some pictures to tide you over.

Apparently I'm the only adult in the house that thinks to take pictures. T is going to wonder if I was an absent mother.

And a video:

Videos

I told my mother I would put up a video of T's first experience eating and while I was doing it, I decided to throw in a couple more videos just for kicks.
Enjoy, mom.
This is actually the 2nd video I took. The 1st one wouldn't upload and I can't figure out why. It's basically the same, only you miss me trying to keep her from grabbing the spoon before I can get it into her mouth for about 30 seconds. Very exciting stuff.

Playing Peek-A-Boo with Daddy. Please note the way she twists her feet in circles. She does this all day and I think it's very funny.
Opening her Christmas present.

6 Months

Let's make this short and sweet. (ish)
Skills: You can sit up! And I have to help you sit back up after you've toppled over less and less each week.
You've decided being on your tummy is just fine and you refuse to roll over anymore.
Your socks are in a perpetual state of being half pulled off.
Food: We've tried. You seem to seriously hate it.
New Favorite Game: Peek-A-Boo. I may be overusing it, since you no longer laugh when we play this.
Seth would like you to know he is not being a terrible father, he was working from home this day and I put Tessa there myself.
People: Love them! For the most part - unknown males are starting to become the exception, as your Granddad (and everyone else in the building) unfortunately found out during church. But, Christmas Break was still awesome for you in this department. Not so good in the sleep schedule department.
Naps: Hahahahahahahahahaha. A ha. No. They no longer exist in your world.
It is mind-boggling to me that you are closer to being a 1-year old than a newborn. Mind-boggling!

Christmas Card

So I had every intention of sending out Christmas cards this year (or should I say last year?). But seeing as it's January 5th and I still haven't bothered to get addresses together, I'm going to hazard a guess and say it ain't happening.
It's really too bad, because I love Christmas cards. Real ones, that you get in the mail. Nobody sends them anymore and it makes me sad.
Anyway, in an effort to not be too lame, I decided to at least post a Christmas card on my blog. Let's pretend like you are reading this 2 weeks ago.

The Amazing Winsor's 2011:
Seth: finished 2 more semesters of grad school, got almost all A's, worked part-time while going to school, worked full-time over the summer, worked with the young men at church, looked for a job, and helped Janette around the house.
Janette: had a baby, kept her alive.
T: learned how to hold her head up, roll over, blow raspberries, sit up and -for 2 beautiful weeks- sleep through the night.
Here's to more sleep (and more happiness) in the coming year!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
