Seth and I drove down to Arizona last week for Spring Break.
We brought our camera along but the only time we remembered to get it out was when we stopped at the Hoover Dam.
Luckily, our Spring Break was extremely uneventful, so this is not a big loss.
Here we are looking nice and grungy.
This doesn't seem so big in a picture, but the height is dizzying.
Seth contemplated riding a bicycle down the side of it.
The other side. The white stripe on the rocks shows where the water level used to be.
All I have to say about that is: yikes.
Panorama Shot. Isn't that bridge sweet? (Click the picture to make it bigger)
Hopefully they finish it soon so there's much less traffic through Hoover Dam.
And that was the most exciting event of our Spring Break!
Except for possibly our shopping excursion to Target. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, but Seth was forced to try on several pairs of pants for a good hour or so. (I made him, because he is currently wearing jeans and shorts that have been duct taped together.)
He was exhausted when we got home.
What about the garage sale---it was fun. Especially making 6 signs and being woken up at 6:30 am. Steak dinner was good though--yes?
ReplyDeleteOh yes. Totally worth the 6 signs and 6:30am awakening.
ReplyDeleteThat seems sarcastic but it's not...
ReplyDeleteOh my, why do Winsor boys think it is OK to wear clothes that are absolutely falling apart? I totally relate to that!
