As promised, here is a description of Seth's shadow sculpture.
Step 1: Enroll in a Teachings of Isaiah class at BYU. Have a large final project as part of the syllabus.
Step 2: Set up the light and what the shadow should look like.
Step 3: Wear sunglasses so as not to damage your eyeballs
Step 4: Start adding stuff to the sculpture to fill in the shadow.
Step 5: Throw on some Hebrew letters for symbolism. (Isaiah would have approved.)
Step 6: Finish.
Step 7: Write a paper detailing the symbolism between your project and the book of Isaiah. (As in, the jumbled hot glued pile of popsicle sticks represents the confusing writings of Isaiah, the light represents the Spirit, the hidden shadow image represents the message of Christ's Atonement that is the core of Isaiah's writings. It's neat-o.) (Written with help by Seth.)
Step 8: Turn it in. Have your wife write a blog about it. Have everyone think it's exceptionally creative and cool except for her annoying twin sister.
The End.
