Cleaning Hierarchy

Last weekend I wasn't feeling good and T felt the urge to pull everything out of every drawer and shelf in the house so it's taken me most of the week to put our house back in order.
I can't bring myself to do the last few things on my list because I LOATHE doing them.
Does anyone want to come to my house and do it for me? I would pay someone to just do these things.

They are:
1. Washing all the pots and pans that don't fit in the dishwasher. This is THE WORST.
2. Cleaning the tubs. I don't mind cleaning the rest of the bathroom. Just the tub.
3. Putting new trash bags in the trash cans. Emptying the trash I can do. It's putting bags back in that I seriously hate.
4. Vacuuming the edge of carpets. If you see lots of crumbs and dirt there when you come over, please don't mention it. I never do this.

Am I the only one with such strong feelings about cleaning? Please say no.

Life Lately

I keep meaning to write more on here but I guess life is too boring to merit that.
Nevertheless, here a couple things we've been filling our time with:
Playing outside.
Blowing bubbles.
Making treats and cruelly not letting T eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Shoving as many goldfish into our mouth as we possibly can.
Dancing.
I'm telling you, when you have a kid your standards for entertainment go way down.

Ultrasound

It's a girl!

Seth comes from a family of all boys and only one girl and I come from one with all girls and only one boy, so I am always curious to see what kind of family we are going to end up having.

Looks like my side is winning so far.

We are very excited!

Summer Bounty

Here is the sum total of what we harvested from our garden:
1 Green Pepper and 1 Tomato.
Not pictured: 1 Green Bean, 1 half-eaten by bugs Tomato, still-alive Rosemary plant.
Seth says there are a couple more buds on the Pepper plant and our Zucchini magically came back to life but we'll see if that really amounts to anything. I have my doubts.

Maybe you think I'm a very sad gardener, but considering my skills and lack of tending to this garden, I call this a major success.

Taking after her mother

I have an odd quirk in that I like to eat colored candy in rainbow order.
Seth has not yet tired of making fun of me for this and we've been married for 3 years.
So I bought T colored goldfish the other day.
It took me a few days but I finally realized she was eating them in a particular order.
Purple first, then green, light orange and lastly dark orange.
You'll notice all the purple are gone and she has the last two green in her hands.
Guess that quirk was genetic. Sorry T. You're in for a lifetime of teasing from your father.
